Frayed Feathers

My EE has feathers that are frayed they kind of look like they're burned? You have to zoom in to see it because of course she's not allowing me to take her picture.

They look like they're starting to wear out. The next molt will bring in nice new feathers

How old is she? Where is she sleeping? Pig piling on the floor, sleeping in a nest box, or perhaps the roost being close enough to the wall that her tail feathers touch the wall???
