WOW this is a case that really I could have fun with #1 you go down to that podunct police dept and say this is what happenned you gonna do somethin about it when they sya no say OK then I will Im callin the local newspaper TV and media OH then Im takin out a full page ad in sundays paper to tell the whole community what a bunch of worthless rent a cops you are then Im callin the cty sheriff OH and while Im at it Im callin the ASPCA and the Humane society and when Im done there Im callin my local state representative and the county commissiners to tell them how well of a job your doin TRUST ME you call the local state rep and its anywhere close to election time and things mysteriously get done... make the local PD look like a bunch of fools and embarass the kids folks publically and it will resolve itself you do nothin and it gets worse... OH and them call the mayor and safety director....

While I understand why some people can get very upset with their local police departments I wouldn't recommend doing anything to publically embarrass them. Most police officers are fine dedicated people however, just as in any group, there are some who aren't. They can cause you more problems than you can cause them. Just saying............

I talked to the kids parents and told them that I would charge them per pund if anything happened to my guinea, for the same price as they would pay in any restraunt that serves guinea fowl. It adds up to a good amount for a 5 lbs. bird. Not that I have any intention of ever eating her, but I figured that people are right, threaten their wallets. The kid hasn't come near my property since. Unfortunately, Pete (My guinea) was here all day yesterday and is now gone today with no sign of her. She is always here in the mornings chattering to herself in the windows. I am hoping she turns up but am not feeling real optimistic about it. The irony is I finally got an email from someone with other adults for sale that I could have picked up from today, so Pete wouldn't be alone anymore.

I guess the amt of trouble a cop can cause you is based on who you are Im a fire captain and by necessity get along with most cops but there are more than one who need a good public butt kickin... Quick example we had one of my Lts respond to a deer strike call well the deer was struck by a 18 wheeler and its 2200 and moonless country rd... she hit a piece in the road didnt swerve or nothin when the calls done she tells the chief and the chief says hey well check your car out at the FD to see if you damaged it hittin part of the deer go tell the police who at that time was a young hotshot statie.... She tells the trooper who procedes to give her a ticket for failure to control now all she did was run over part of a deer!!!!!! 200 dollar ticket!!!!!! So you all know which way crud flows and its handed to me to fix I call the prosecutor who says well we normally represent you as your govt but we cant as we would be fighting ourselves I called a bunch of folks who got a kick out of it and said he was outta line well I called our state rep and 2 days later i get a call from them he informs me that he had lunch with the state patrol cornal and he was very apologetic state patrol cornal calls the local post LT and wola ticket is gone charges dropped and the officer comes out to apologize...... Moral of the story if your right they are wrong you just need to know what wheel to grease to get results and a good public floggging tends to get resultsss.... OH BUT YOUD BETTER BE RIGHT!!!!!!!
