Freaking out...hopefully over nothing

That's how I reacted the first time I saw mine dust bathing. It's good for them to sunbathe, and dust bathe. Normal, and nothing to be concerned with.

I caught my Peacock sunbathing and thought he was dead. I have never in my life have seen that. He was on his side, leg sticking out as if in rigamortis....then I saw his chest moving. My heart nearly stopped. But all was well.

I have chickens and quail that get DANGEROUSLY relaxed when cuddling me or/and sunbathing. Bambi the male fawn Japanese Quail pretty much dies when laying in my hand, going all limp and everything, head hanging down from my hand, enjoying the warmth.

Scared my dad when he saw him like that, but when I moved my hand, Bambi did chirps of protest and lifted his head up. :p
