how much garlic?

For a small animal, like a chicken I usually mash up just one clove with some olive oil.

It was interesting trying to spoon feed a chicken. So I guess now we wait.

Intestinal parasites?

Thank you grandma and for all who's offered to help. This morning her poo still looks normal but when I feed her it's almost like her throat hurts and is dry. She makes a dry throaty sound and hold her beak open for a minute. It reminds me of when I had strep.

I pumped her with nutri-drench and that is about all she was willing to tolerate from me this morning. So I believe she either has some type of infection (yet she has no fever) or she ate something she wasn't supposed to in the yard. I must travel today so it is up to my DH to care for her while I am gone. I will keep everyone updated on her progress.

Thank you everyone for your responses. Freckles pass away just moments ago.

I am in touch with MSU and hopefully will get a response today.

Edit Response from MSU: They told me that there was probably nothing I could have done for her and that it was probably s hiccup in her reproductive tract as she is a newly laying chicken. Good thing is that they didn't think there was any danger in regards to the rest of my flock.
