Yes they are awesome i just love the breed in general. Rory is black just like your freddy, she is mostly blind in one eye but that doesn't seem to bother her one bit. She is such a mamas girl, she is even rubbing off on my hubby who gets jealous if he doesn't get to cuddle with her on the couch LOL

You can see her eye sort of in the pic, she also lost most of her comb to a vicious roo we have now rehomed, He got 2 of my cochins by the comb. That was the last draw for me he had to go!

She looks sweet. Freddy's front part of his comb is gone now from a fight last year and now one of his waddles has a chip in it. He makes up for it in personality, but I gotta watch him because he likes to fight the other roos.

Yeah those cochin boys are quite feisty towards other roos. My main rooster for the flock is a white cochin. He produced the vicious roo who took rory's comb along with quite a few other roosters i hatched out early spring who have now found new homes. Thank god im only down to 2 roos outside and 2 serama roos in the house for breeding. They are soooo good with the girls compared to other roosters of different breeds i have had in the past.
