Although it isn't a big fair, it does have a decent poultry exhibit. The fair officially starts on the 29th, but the poultry and other livestock load in on Sunday, the 28th. If you are interested in fancy poultry (show chickens), you can learn a lot by talking to the people as they enter their birds.
The highlight of the fair for me is the auction they have on Friday evening. It's neat to watch the youngsters with their critters and the generous adults that bid on their animals. It's a slice of all American pie.
