won't know til tomorrow

I thought my awesome litle pullet would take bb but upon turning the corner of the rosecomb isle, I see some near perfect birds!!!

What is this? in my neck of the woods. Oh just some dude who's been breeding rc's for like 40 years

and who has a pullet going against my girl that has taken bb in every show she's been in as well as grand champion in KY

I introduced myself and he taught me more about breeding and showing rc's in 15 min. than I think I could absorb. What a great guy... and beautiful birds... don't mind losing in that situation..

I somehow missed the BYC picture?!! I'm just an idiot who can't keep track of time. I was made aware of the time and meeting place for the BYC photo, but I didn't pay attention to the time at all and missed it completely.

But...I did get to meet a bunch of folks in person, which was great!

I only brought a couple of birds, one of which was a bantam Polish hen who decided to start molting--one tail feather at a time--a few days before the show. I took her anyway, but she didn't do well, as I expected (surprise surprise, the judge mentioned her tail on the card

). But my little Dutch roo got BB!

I saw Tammy with a whole mess of ribbons! I know her Orps did really well...

Hey Everyone! Tammy said she can't get the pics uploaded till tomorrow! I was supposed to post this earlier but we just got back from the airport (picked my dad up from his hunting trip to Montana)

I somehow missed the pics at high noon also. lol. I kept watching the time, really, I did. Next thing I knew it was 12:15, too late. Sorry i missed them. It was a fun weekend. I took tons of pics of birds, i will post some later.
