Oh, now
that was funny!!
This is how that went down (I'm just gonna hide now, Gretchen's gonna smack me
):
Saturday @ the show:
Me: "Gretchen! Look at the Modern Games!! I love them! They are SO. COOL."
Gretchen: "Uhhhh...I don't know...they look like something out of Star Wars."
Me, at least 386 more that day: "No, they are
awesome. Like something out of Jurassic Park! Velociraptor chickens! HYSTERICAL! AWESOME!"
Sunday @ the show:
Gretchen: "You know, those MGBs? I think they are actually kinda cool. In a Star Wars kind of way."
Me: "You know, there's a breeder outside selling some."
Needless to say, Gretchen went away with a trio of MGBs
One of the hens escaped from her box in the backseat and ended up riding on my lap part of the way home. They are super cool birds, and very sweet. Gretchen, you should post pictures!

I'm not to that point...yet. I'm sure if/when I break down and get a Silkie Gretchen will get big payback for me making fun of her Modern Game adventures.
But I will admit to being pretty partial to them as chicks. Silkie chicks are pretty irresistable! Oh, that Dutch roo of mine is ridiculously entertaining. If he were any bigger he'd be intolerable, but because he's itty-bitty, all of that, um, "personality" is adorable! So, what are you bringing to Warrenton?
The same crew of birds?

Definitely in Warrenton! I'm pretty sure I know who you are now, but the couple of times I saw you at the show last weekend you looked like you were busy, and I figured that we'd meet at the BYC high-noon photo shoot. Which I then, of course, missed...
Anyway, I'll be sure to introduce myself at Warrenton.
