Hi there,
Im in Frederick MD looking to re-home my female Welsummer "Zuma". She is about 2 years old, lays a light brown spotted egg daily or every other day, and currently lives with 2 Easter Eggers. She is happy and healthy and the only reason we are re-homing her is because she is mildly aggressive with my littlest kiddos. Its nothing a bigger kid or an adult cant handle with ease, but for kids under 3 she is deterring them from helping with chicken chores they usually love. My chickens live in a coop and run but we let them out daily to enjoy the yard as well. She tends to rush whoever lets her out of the coop everyday and she pecks tiny kiddo hands and toes looking for food or just being assertive.
