Within days of the wreck, we went through the "I'll never ride again" phase. Then the reality of the situation kicked in...wait a minute, it's not Skip or the Harleys fault, some fool ran the red light! I'm ready to ride today but patiently waiting on Skip and the scoot so we can all get back on the road together.


It was totally weird getting the cast off...it's been a week, to the day and I still have to remind myself that it's okay to use it again. Everyday I make it do a bit more...still can't grip small things but I'm soooo glad to have it back that I can't complain! All the dead skin was a total freak out too...what kind of alien appendage has replaced my arm?

whoo hoo!!
first day back at work is friday. i'll be writing programs for the monster routers, estimating job bids, and writing up orders. i can't wait, i'm supper psyched, 2 and 1/2 months is long enough and i am over ready to get back at it. we are so glad that my bossman has essentially created a position for me to ease back into work, cause i've got another 2 months before i'll be able to spend 10 hrs a day at my bench. sweet relief!
