Free Cat in Gainesville area

I live in Gainesville, Florida near Santa Fe College and found a cat almost two months ago that my neighbor lost the day she was moving out. I went to the office and had them contact her but never heard back and she didn't have a microchip so she's been staying with us since. We've been trying to find her a home but no one we know wants a cat and we tried taking her to the shelter a few times but to no luck (we feel guilty dropping her at a shelter). She's a very sweet Calico, very talkative and loves to make biscuits and purr. I cannot keep her because I'm not supposed to have pets and she doesn't get along with my roomates cats (ESAs). So if you or anyone you know wants a cat. PLEASE TAKE HER.

How old do you think she is? Is she spayed? How does she do around chickens?

She seems young, maybe 2 or 3 and she's ear tipped so I assume she's spayed. Not sure about how she is around chickens, but she loves to sit and watch my rats.

Hmm, sorry, but in adopting an adult I would need to know they were good with chickens as we need a barn cat. A kitten at least can be raised around them like my last kitties were and were always well behaved with them. Sorry to get your hopes up.
