My girl ran over honking as soon as we brought the kennel out of the car. She's happy now... Also, she's Gigi. We still need names for the other two now.

Hello! Does anyone else have friends that tell you that you're CHICKEN CRAZY and need to get a life?? Please I hesitate calling these ppl friends but I never thought I'd love chickens so much! I've wanted some all my life....never able to til now! My bro agreed to let me have a coop out at his farm! Now I have 15 hens and a rooster named Rooty!

Preeeeetty much, yeah. Just with animals in general though. My mom never understood why I liked birds so much until she met Gigi the Sebastopol goose. She's more of a plant lady.

Oh yes they do. One of my other friends has chickens and when I am ever around her I just have to talk about them! So everyone else thinks we are crazy. My father never has understood my love of the birds until I got some... Now I see him going out to the coop when he thinks no one is looking, or he will go bring some food to them and stay out there a really long time. People have to get them to understand them. I loved them before I got them, but feel like I did not really know what they were like. now I love them even more!!!
