free chick/duckling grit!

I have a partially used 5 lb bag (see photo below for brand, type, and actual weight) of chick/duckling grit that I need to get rid of, as my ducklings are now chubby adults and I have no plans for more ducklings in the near future. Why not just sit it out in a bowl close to where they eat so they can use it over winter I'd think at some point your ground is going to be snow-covered which will make it hard for the ducks to find grit.
