Free chick feeder idea :)

I needed to set up another brooder this morning, and realized I was out of chick feeders...WHAT?!? I ALWAYS have extras laying around!

I have a headache and didn't feel like going to the feed store, SO, I improvised...

Who doesn't have egg cartons laying around?? I used one of the kind that already has holes on top and cut a few more lower down on the side since they are bantam chicks. Voila! The poop on it, you can just throw it away!

Awesome idea! I don't have any chick feeders yet (or chicks: they arrive in 5 weeks) so when I buy some more eggs, I'll get a couple dozen and use the cartons! What a money saving idea!
