Free chicken what am i? Pic Heavy

I just got her(?) from someone who bought her from the feed store. She's a hatchery bird, don't know which and about 14-16 weeks old. They said that she's a buff cochin pullet. I don't know much about Cochins... and she looks pretty red to be buff. But I think they are right on saying pullet. Ideas?

Cochin? I'm looking at the feathered feet, but the rest of her isn't as fluffy as my cochin... Hopefully someone else will have a better idea

She does look like a hatchery quality cochin pullet.

I think buff Cochin pullet is about right... especially because it's a hatchery bird.

It's a red cochin- looks like a pullet. Hatchery birds are sometimes a little less fluffy in the bottom. I have breeder and hatchery cochins, and I have gotten chicks like that from both. I think you'll have a nice pretty broody.

Thanks so much. I hope she gets the cute poof butt tail. She's so so sweet once I catch her I can just carry her in my arms everywhere and she'll coo and just fall asleep. I think this is the begining of a beautiful relationship and fondness for Cochins!
