As far as sprouting sunflower seeds-this is unbelievable simple, easy and quick. I have 2-3 glass quarts jars sitting bythe kitchen sink most of the time...start one every day or every other day. I fill a jar 1/3 full and cover with warm water overnight. Then drain in the morning. I rinse them with warm water usually every morning/every night-this takes 2 mins (one time a day would work too). After about 4 days you have a jar full of fresh green sprouts/leaves for them to have something "green" during the winter. Here in the midwest they go a long time during the witner without free raging.
