we got this for free off craiglist, it is 4' by 8' coop, will be doing run next it will be 8' by 16' for 12 chickens

Those pictures just reminded me of 2 years ago when my grandmother bought an old outhouse at an auction. It was built by the WPA and she just had to have it. So we go get it with my trailer and are going - 35 miles an hour- down the highway with an outhouse on a trailer. We actually had people slowing down to 35 mph to take pictures of the traveling toilet!

That coop has great potential. Can;t wait to se the finished product.

WELL< these pics are AFTER I cleaned it out!! I could NOT take a pic of it when it was absolutely disgusting!! They had 4 milk crates on the shelf for nest boxes and roosts!!! it was COVERED in poop and moldy nasty hay! The floor was covered in moldy hay and a carcass!! I mucked it all out then sprayed it with bleach twice!! I will post new pics very soon of the progress so far! it looks awesome!!

QUESTION~ what wall should I put the nestboxes on?? the roost will be over the shelf..making a linoleum tub to make cleaning easier...

before we painted pop door and repainted rest of soffit area

back with trim and paint...trying to decide if we want to take off flashing....and try to make straighter! NOTHING about this coop was straight!! BUT LOTS of potential!!
