The swap went flawlessly. We put all four eggs under Alice. This morning the wife when out there to check on her and she was happily nestled on them clucking softly... LOL

We candled the old eggs and there was nothing, maybe a hint of veining in one... Ah well.

My Mom and Dad snuck into my coop last night to deliver your gift. I have to spread myself out a little more than I used to to cover the extra egg but that's fine. But I am very happy with the eggs.

BUG126 your eggs went out today

11 of the 12 eggs are doing great!!! Even the one that was cracked!!! One had a blood ring. Due to hatch the 30th....Ill post pictures after they hatch....Im so excited!!

I have chicks!!!! 5 hatched but one didnt make it. I have 4 little fuzzy butts....The rest didnt hatch..

Here is a picture of them

What color do you think they will be? The two that are the darkest I think will be black but what about the gray one and the light colored one with the stripes down its back??

the light colored one - partridge
one looks blue
others look like black mottled.
