Free Fertilized Silkie Eggs in MN

I would like to try some silkie eggs if you have any left. They would definitely NOT be eaten. Instead they would be pampered by me and DD who is begging for silkies. Would be willing to accept only a few eggs and pay postage. Please PM me if available.

You wouldn't happen to be in any way connected to Amador Clydesdales, would you? Just wondering...

As for humidity, I'm not actually sure. Lol. I just pop eggs in the incubator with a cup of water and hopes its correct. I know its bad, but I can't seem to figure out how to measure humidity.

I know you said you didn't ship but I would be glad to walk you through shipping to get some of these. It really isn't too hard to ship.

What I would do with them. I would hatch them out and love them and care for them. We have a chemical free farm with lots of chickies, OEGB and turkeys and guineas but NOOOOO silkies.... I would love some.

I would have a group of them....Also I would like to hatch some from the mothers I raise from you and share with our community which has been devistated by a major company fire and 800 persons lost their jobs! I would like to do a silkie fund raiser to help a non-profit that helps these folks.

Well, I'd be glad to help like i said with shipping.

My phone is being weird and I can't see what the posts say but depending on where you are I would love to get a few eggs.

Hey guys. I'm not going to ship. Sorry. There are enough people around here that would love them that I don't think I would want to ship. Sorry.

For those of you that would like eggs nearby, I will have some more in two weeks.

This is my information on shipping from another post. I cut and pasted it, hope it helps some. I'm sure you can find information on packaging eggs for shipping and possibly sending them postage due.

Well folks, please allow me to add my 2 cents.
First are chicken eggs really so rare that a seller can not replace eggs?
There is a song called "Waiting for the World to Change". Why the heck should we "Wait" why not change it ourselves, with a little kindness.
Good garden o' peas, they're chicken eggs not diamonds! Are a few extra eggs for insurance really gonna break the bank? Heck even the hatcheries throw in a couple free chicks now and then. A lot more work/cost goes into hatching those little buggers ya know.

Lastly, I worked for the post office and believe me the way some people pack things, I'm not surprised when things are destroyed. Even when I strongly advised people agains shipping the package with scotch tape they insist on shipping it. No matter what the clerk tells you wrap the darn thing in brown paper and make sure there are no other markings/writing other than the to and from addresses. NO! NO! NO! styrofoam peanuts EVER! NEVER NEVER NEVER!

Eggs should be sent at least priority or express mail. Never UPS or FedEx, becaue you never know where they'll leave your package.

"Signature Conformation" this means someone has to sign for the package and can check it's contents in front of a postal worker. Gotta get a witness.

Insured!

Do not, Do not give eggs to the mailman. They will sit in his/her truck all day. Either freezing or cooking. There is no air conditioning in their vehichles and they aren't warm enough in the winter.

Mail early in the day. The sooner your package gets into the "system" the faster it will get there.

Marking your package fragile means nothing to the machinery that will process you package. There is no such thing as "handle with care". The postal service does not have time to "hand process" your package.

Finally the postal service DOES NOT! treat any package special. They DO NOT! take more care with insured packages. I had a woman tell a customer in her store this when the customer was shipping two glass bowls and wanted to save money by putting one inside the other. EVEN AFTER I TOLD HER THIS WAS NOT THE CASE.

I am not bossy, my ideas is just better.
I love ya baby. Bless the beasts and the children.
