This happens to be the best pet dog I've ever owned. He's well behaved and very quick to learn. So here's the story.. I recently picked this dog up for free, I was looking for a hunting companion. "Jager" (yager) was living in a small back yard with three other big dogs. He didn't have a bad life at all, but his owner was downsizing.
So we brought him home and found that he really misses his friends. What's worse is that I don't believe he'll ever make it as a hunting dog either. He has no nose and despite my attempts through the winter I could not get him excited when I took him to the field. He was just happy to walk at heal.
Now my wife has asked me to find him a new home where he won't be so lonely.
He's not housebroke although the times we've had him inside he has been very calm. He weighs about 45lbs. He knows his name, loves to play fetch, Sit, Heal, and pretty good with Whoa. He's not registered, but I do have his puppy papers so you could register him in your name if you so desire.
Please E-mail me if you are interested. [email protected]
