Free Parakeets near Houston

[Magnolia Ducks]

Hi, I usually hang out on the duck forum but I have a friend who had a pair of parakeets fly into his shop. He bought them a cage and keeps them as companions in his shop. The issue is, they are a pair. Have already hatched one clutch and are sitting on another and he is getting overrun with little parakeets. New homes would be appreciated. Let me know if you want any.

Likley too far. I know nothing about the little guys. Just trying to help find them homes and birth control.

Definitely too far. Too bad though. I love the little buggers and the chickens have reawakened my desire to have them again.

I would If We lived closer i rescue parrots , i hope he finds good homes for some of them

i know you can ship them but not sure of all the rules for some states and if they are Quaker parakeet some states have banned them

Wait, by parakeets, do you mean budgerigars?

Sorry don't know the breed but I will ask for pictures. I have never heard of budgerigars. I will google. All I know is someone abandoned them outdoors and they found a new home and started raising babies. Many babies. There are now 6 and three eggs.
