Free Parakeets near Houston

Would I want two females or two males or a pair?
:gig I’m not sure why I find this funny. It’s just a little silly how everyone is using chicken language to refer to parrots. Kiki, you could have any combo. If you want a pair and no babies, just don’t put a nest box in and she shouldn’t lay. They’re not like chickens where if they don’t have a box or don’t like it they’ll lay anywhere. They just usually don’t lay if they don’t have a place to do it. There are some good budgie forums and YouTube channels to help you guys who want some.

Thank you.

I've had the perfect cage for these type of birds for a while now and I've been thinking about getting one or two.
From my understanding I think two would be better. I just wasn't sure if I accidentally got two males if they would kill each other.

Go for it @Kiki. After chickens, how hard could it be? Just watch out using Teflon coated pans around them. I heard the gas the pans emit when heated can be a little toxic to their little bodies. I'm not positive on this so I could have been misinformed.
I was thinking about keeping the cage outside.
I'm NOT ready for indoor birds.

Here are the pictures, since they flew in as strays we know little about them. It's two adults two babies and two eggs .
