Free Plant N Garden Stands Org

Even though the Casa Grande seed libraries are slow due to the heat, and the gardening exchange stand is closed, Daniel Dybowski is a great educator. We hope the next one he does, you're able to meet up and learn from him.

There's nothing like a refreshing drink on a hot day.
Rosselle hibiscus is one plant people grow here in Arizona. The color is fabulous,

and the flavor is amazing.
We make a large, strong batch for the week and give the leftover flowers to the flock.
Add kombuka, stevia, fresh mint, and ice of you like.

Indoor gardening during the summer.
1. Sort seed's with a friend.
2. Make origami seed packets.
3. Fill packets for sharing at the stands (share them when temps are in the 80's).
4. Press 🌸 flowers for projects.
5. Get your seeds ready for the next planting season.
6. Get cuttings rooted.
7. Keep a journal of your garden journey.

We have seed shepherds that take your bulk and get them ready for events and the stands.
You can also learn what seeds look like by volunteering when we collect seeds.
If you don't have a garden, we have a few community gardens that would love to share their knowledge with you.

If you have a flock and have extra 🥚, try 💧 water glassing some.
Our chickens have not been laying as much recently, so we're diving into these that were preserved using this method back in October 2022.
The 1st container has been good so far, but one looks like an egg cracked recently.

HONEMADE 🧈 BUTTER
You'll need;
1. Heavy whipping cream, this was almost 1 gallon
2. Salt, we used 1/2 teaspoon of unrefined ancient sea salt from Redmond.
3. Cheese cloth
4. Bowl for mixing
5. Spatula
6. Bowl of ice for rinsing
7. Mixer, used the immersion blender 1st, then a regular hand-held blender.
This takes a bit, around 15-20 minutes until you see the butter. You will have whipped cream for a bit, but keep mixing. Then you'll see some buttermilk start to pull away towards the end.
All of a sudden it will get harder to blend, and you will be able to form a ball of butter.
*******THEN******
Remove the butter into the cheese cloth and squeeze out the buttermilk.
Place into the ice bath, rinse,
