If you live in the metropolitan area in Arizona, and want to see fall leaves plant a peach tree. The stone fruit this season will most likely not produce unless it has 150 chill hours.
We will be doing an air layering, grafting educational workshop this spring on our mulberry and fig trees.

White star egg plant is one of our favorites to cook up. We save as many of these tiny seeds as possible for planting and sharing.
One had seeds that were not fully formed. It was either not pollinated or was picked too early. We use a spoon to scrape them out and will put them on a paper towel to dry.

Thank you to the host of Succulent Uprising in Phoenix. I grabbed this for our yard birds. It is close to the front patio seating area but hidden enough for them to feel right at home. This is such a lovely gift, I can't wait to see them visit.
