When you think of a garden, you might think of growing food.
However, we love our cactus garden. You will see part of ours behind the Stand to the right. This Easter lily cactus was a gift from the Succulent Uprising in Phoenix, Arizona U.S.A. and is finally blooming. We have shared some of the pups for part of a giveaway and look forward to sharing more.
The pale pink ( in person color) with almost a hue of bright pink shows off in the early morning.

Our frankincense tree is blooming for the 1st time this year.


Boswellia sacra, also known as Boswellia carteri, or the olibanum tree, is a tree in the genus Boswellia, in the Burseraceae family, from which frankincense, a resinous dried sap.
As the tree grows the bark looks like paper as it sheds.

While we have a mascot Trinity, a blue healer cattle dog mix. We also have #germanshepherd #dog who protect our flock at night.. They hang out with us indoors during the day and get spoiled. We have been blessed, some donor has shared toys, balls, and even leashes at our "city farm" homestead headquarters North 66th Place

For those of you who have been gifted a Scaredy Cat Plant, here is what the bloom looks like. Cuttings have been shared at many locations, grown from visitors who have had success with growing, and re-shared. We love this community of givers as they help bring back gardening culture. "it's a lifestyle!"
