I swear mine are feathery toddlers. Couldn't see them in the back area-where they had been huddling after someone got it by a fox on the morning field trip.
Opened the front curtain to see all of them working the hay mulch over the strawberries. They skittered back around as I raced to grab a phone and document their cheek.
Because apparently busted birds get scratch?
(And I am going to rework some fencing to try and recognize where they like to go that is not their run.)
