Here's some pics and a video of one of my 'free range' Reeves. I came home from work one morning to find the pen door wide open...has 2 spring loaded latches on the door!...I know I didn't leave both not latched, don't know if someone came onto my place and opened it or what, how they got unlatched!
Had 6 juvenile Reeves in the pen, that was 10 months ago. Tried to recapture them but all efforts failed. All but 2 disappeared in two days. 1 male, 1 hen have survived for 10 months, 'on their own'. Haven't seen the hen in the last few days...I fear the worse has happened to her? It's been interesting to watch them in a free range condition, and how fast they became 'wild' again. The male has become a regular at the house, even follows me around, chases after me when I'm on my 4 wheeler.

hopefully you will see her again......could she be on a nest?? i retrieved only 1 of my escapees (twice) the rest all disappeared without a trace

Sean you sound much too upbeat and happy, to be the unsmiling person in the photo you showed me years ago. I bet you smile often - just don't want that secret to get out.

Not likely she's on a nest!...my Reeves haven't started to lay, yet.
my ringneck seems to be trying to “hide” her eggs under the straw.....i think she’s mad that they keep disappearing......temps supposed to warm back up so i’m not going to collect them next week and see what she does.....should be putting 7-10 in the incubator for Mother’s Day hatch
