We have 42 chickens (White Leghorn, Rhode Island Reds, Buff Orpington, Light Brahma, Golden Lace Wyandotte, Jersey Giant, Sex Link, and a Yocohama rooster) and 3 Mallard ducks,....we let them free range during the day then coop them at night. The do really well. The only ones we've had problems with not wanting to re-coop, is the white Leghorns. Stubborn little things!
