Free rangers taking over the yard......

I love to let my chickens free range during the day, but I can't keep them off my deck and driveway. Has anyone come up with ways to deter this? We have 7 acres of field and woods and their coop is far enough away, but they prefer to hang out around the house. Thanks!

Hose with multi-spray head set on JET! They hang out there b/c their favorite human is seen coming and going from there.

i know that feeling the like pooping on my back steps were i like to sit in the morning and watch them.

I train my dogs to chase them back where mine belong, it works for the most part, though I have to be outside for that, unfortunately you have to make your chickens fearful to come near your house in some way.
