One more thing... I would be careful about the bushes. I think mine would lay under a bush if there were any they had access to. I'm in Cali so it's all dry dirt and grass here. Not many good places to lay except in the stall.

Mine free range. Two weeks ago I would have said they almost always go back to the coop for laying. Then, 2 week ago, they stopped. They found a new place to lay and I haven't found it yet!

I will re-stock the coop with golf balls and extra bedding. Barring that I'm gonna have to get a chicken cam, I swear, to track their movement.
