Free Ranging

If I wanted to let my chicks out in the morning to free range, how do I get them to go back in to the coop if I want them to go back around 3?

Or, alternatively, let them out in the afternoon and they will just put themselves back at sunset.

My chicks just follow me around luckily. Like suggested treats would do good too! Yes, also, many chickens go back in at sunset to sleep.

i let mine out in the mornin and they go back in at niight. around sunset. even my chicks. 4 weeks old.
