Free-Roaming Chickes All Over The Place?

I just let my year old chickens out and I'm getting half the eggs that I was getting before. They have only been out for a week now. I shut them up at night. What's going on? Help someone.

They are laying outside the coop. They have probably found some cozy bushes to hide in. Coop them back up and only let them out in the evenings after they have laid.
