I have 2 very handsome Black Astrolorpe Roos that are approx. 14 weeks old. Dan(m) the Roo is probably best for a Sunday dinner in a few weeks, he is too rough, of nasty temperment and pretty hostile, though he is a fine specimen of roo.
Gaylord is not as handsome, but he has a very nice temperment and he is very attentive and protective of his hens. He is still pretty gangly, and is wattle is uneven, but he might mature into a handsome fella is given the chance.
I have a plethora of roos around here, and these guys are in need of greener pastures.
