Never hurts to look. I suggest, however, that you hold that roo and really give him a good look. Don't just take him on sight. All those feathers can cover up a multitude of sins. If you want him for a breeder, you want to at least be sure he doesn't have any physical defects or health problems. If you want to breed good babies, you need good parents. Look him over closely, ask about vaccinations, and any recent health issues with their flock. Good luck. Hope he's a nice one.
