Help .Is this serious?

I'm so sorry. The vent appears damaged to me. It's possible that she prolapsed, other birds pecked at it. It happens with prolapse sometimes if it's not noticed and other birds see it. If that was what happened then probably at some point infection set in, might have been internal if anything was damaged enough to create an opening to the abdominal cavity. Even a very small prolapse can end up causing major damage if other birds get to it. It looks like it was dried out and maybe trying to scab over. Hard to know. It would definitely explain the lethargy and not wanting to eat or drink, she was likely feeling pretty awful. Again, I'm so sorry.
Thanks. I looked her over to look for signs of pecking but didnt see any.if the problem was prolapse that would probably explain a lot. I did notice about 3 days ago she had a slightly dirty butt as her feathers in that area were pretty puppy but didnt give it much thought as had another chicken with dirty butt prior to this one but hers cleaned up & got over it. Im guessing had i got to her then it wouldnt have got this far. She was one of my golden comet. Thank you for your opinion on this matter

So sorry. Looks like she had necrotic tissue which can be caused by several things such as bacterial infection or cancer. No matter what you did your best.

It was the first time i had seen something like that. Whatever it was when I got all the poop out of her feathers that's when I saw that issue. Looked like poop was oozing out but it actually wasn't. Didn't know what to think. I always come to you guys for help & advise. Really appreciate it. Yes I did do my best. Thank you
