Wow...pays to be aware...

I admire their grasp of the English language, personally.

They seem to use spell check better than Tweeter people. If only the spell check could correct slang, meanings, and inconsistencies. It's funny how the more they write, the more odd they sound. My 2 year old makes more sense.

HERE IT IS!!!

Hello,
I received the informations and I made an inquiry at the
airport on how to get her to you and they have agreed to ship her to
you which you'll receive her within 5hrs of shipment while you will be
sent a tracking number that will enable you to know the depature and
arrival details.I was told that I would need to come along with her
and her paperworks to the airport before the day of shipment for
reservation but they quoted $200.00 including shipping, handling and
insurance.

I would like to know if I should go ahead and take her for
registration. She would be coming with her paperworks, toys and photo
album so I can embark on all the necessary arrangements to fly her and
I will provide you with more informations when I return.

Ellen.

Maybe you could send the money through paypal? Then you have recourse! No dog shows up on the plane, or some other undisclosed fact he hasn't told you about her shows up, you can file a dispute!!

Or you can ask where the MIL is and if you can have someone pick her up there since you are worried about sending money for a dog you have never seen to a person you don't know.

Absolutely, this is a scam that has happened over and over to the T! It has been highlighted on the news many times.

Very similar to one on Craigslist that involved a boat we were trying to buy. Looked nice and had a local listing, but when we inquired the lady said it was in Nevada and would need to be shipped, but BIL worked at the shipping company and said he could get a big discount on the delivery... Also said they were very busy with running their family business that they had just taken over! Also, no we couldn't see it, too busy to show it, and had so many calls about it...

HA! Ask yourself why they would go to the trouble of shipping a dog to someone when it would be very easy to rehome the dog right where it is without air shipment, etc. I wish I could post a link to a news story from a month ago that was exactly like this and the lady was out her $200 with no dog. I am not sure paypal will reimburse unless it is a company you buy from. Also, can't you buy a similar dog for that amount of money in your local area?

Go with your gut!

They aren't getting ANY money from me. I am 100% sure it is a scam, I am just trying to find out where they want me to send the money hoping that the police will be able to stop them.
They haven't done their research well enough-a dog MUST have a health certificate from the vet within 10 days before flying. They have mentioned nothing about that

Also, it cannot be shipped "with her crate" it has to be an airline-approved kennel.
