Wont he have trouble in the winters when most of the wild ducks fly south and the pond freezes over ?

the waterfowl recue around here said when you release a domestic duck into the wild they dont have that great of a chance making it through the winters . There wasnt any near by farms or zoo's that would have taken him .

There are people and houses nearby, there were other domestic ducks in the pond. It's better than him being a prisoner.
