Freeloader......

Can anyone tell me why this freeloader is not laying?. She is over one year old. Has never laid an egg that I know of. I have two other Road Island Reds that lay consistently. Is she just lazy? Or do I have the most Stubborn chicken in SC..... ?

Great to have another poultry lover! Are your chickens in a run or are the free range? If they are free range she might be laying in a nest she made around the yard. Or if she's not happy or stressed out the she won't lay eggs. I have a chicken that is over a year and a half and hasn't layer any eggs either.

Or sometimes you just get a dud.
