freeze dried mealworms?

I want to buy mealworms in bulk but dont have the room to keep them at 40-50 degrees. Is freeze dried worms alright to use?

I give 'em to my gals and they love 'em. I make sure I keep plenty for when they're good.

My chickens go CRAZY for the freeze dried mealworms.

(I find it almost magical that a chicken can turn something nasty like a worm into yummy food...)
