Make sure you install it the right way up.Thanks, I ordered...
So which end of the hose do you put it on? Assuming the very end? (I didn't get much time to look at it closely)Make sure you install it the right way up.
I never had a siphoning problem when I ran a short hose into a bucket. The water that drained out never came close to the house. But now I have a hose that runs across the room, around the corner and down the utility drain. Sometimes all the water doesn't drain out. So when you open the valve it TRIES to suck air from the tube, but just moves that remaining water towards the machine. It never gets close, but why risk it?
This valve allows air in and water down.
Easy.
I think it said where the hose is vertical and the vents point up. so I cut my hose and installed it just below my release valve about 4 inches and slapped the rest of the hose on the other endSo which end of the hose do you put it on?
