Crowing
Ok, so right now we have too many eggs. We are selling a ton of them, which is great, but we have pullet eggs, and just way too many to sell. I have 19 dozen in my fridge at any given time. We give them away like crazy!! As soon as the weather breaks, we are putting a road sign up and a fridge by our one garage...honor system. We don’t want the foot traffic. But it’s wayyyy to frozen here for at least another month. My hubby read you can freeze eggs? No sense to us, since ours crack in the cold. But, I suppose the freezer is not near as cold as our weather! Ugh! Anyways..,does it mean crack the eggs and then freeze them? But then they could basically only be good for scrabbled, since you couldnt really separate them. Long story short, has anyone ever tried this? If so, how long can we freeze them? We get between 27-32 eggs a day, and I have 36 hens so maybe more to come?
