Freezing water please help

I recently moved my pullets into our coop and they are warm and having fun scratching the bedding but the water keeps freezing. What can I do besides put a heat lamp in? (Heat lamp could cause fire and we don't have an outlet anyways) thanks.

Get a heated chicken watered. Mine has been working well and it has gotten under 15F. You can get a heated lizard pad and put it under the waterer, or put a bird bath de-icer in the waterer. Either way, you need electricity.

i just put a fish aquarium heater in mine...i have a 5 gallon bucket with 4 nipples on it...the little heater i have in it keeps everything at 68 degrees. nipples are not freezing up either.
