Totally unrelated--what goes with duck? I was going to try goose, but sticker shock killed that idea ($56??

) So no announcing that everyone's goose is cooked

I'm also making a ham, which I've made tons of times, and I've got the sides for that-- http://www.ayearofslowcooking.com/2010/10/very-best-brussels-sprouts-ever-slow.html and http://www.ayearofslowcooking.com/2008/01/companys-coming-potatoes-augratin.html (both absolutely wonderful) but I have no idea what to make to complement the duck. Since I already have a potato dish, I think roast potatoes, even with duck fat, would be a bit much... And both my crock pots will be occupied, and the duck and ham will both be in the oven, so not a lot of room there...

I have found a good recipe/method for the duck itself, so I don't need any help with that
