I'm sorry. See I have small hands but still like a big hammer, so I use both hands. It just hits the nails better. I'm not talking 30# sledge, to break the nails, but a little ball peen just doesn't work.

True, but as long as you can swing the hammer, the size of the hand (or hands) holding it has no bearing on its effectiveness. Just comes down to personal preference...
