I grew up a city girl. Married a country boy. I've converted a lot but not to roadkill.... (he will pick it up to bait coyote/fox traps with though!)

And non-hunters don't think twice about cresting at full speed.

SC commented that I was posting while driving last night at dusk.... NO WAY... I do know a little about deer habits, and even I'm not that crazy.

    Good morning folks!

@SallySunshine, if you like old bay, or Johnny's dock use those. I like mixing my own with garlic and onion powders, salt, pepper and oregano. I use sharp cheddar, but any cheddar or jack type cheese will work well. You want the grease to help cook the spuds.

Deer are actually the cause of the most wild life related deaths and injuries in this country. Bucks are bad during rut, but doe are down right mean all year it seems.

Tons of county roads around here with fields and/or trees on both sides, & I saw most of them @ one time or another over the 20+ year that I ran newspapers. Ran with my brights on whenever I could, always watching for them to do something dumb. Never hit one; came close a time or two.
