Grass cutting season is on its way. You can do some odd jobs and save up. From the chicks and pullets I sold last week I put the money back into the homestead and I managed to get 31 meat birds and a bunch of equipment for my apiary.

My mom and sister won't let me sale chicks.(Right yet)

Alberts comb seems to have improved, its not as curvy. They are really striking birds though. Do the pullets usually lay layer?

Later than Am pullets? I think so... some sooner than others, but not an early starter...

His combe looks much better than any of the ones I had... coulda measured a speed square off of them... :/

I agree.  So much fun to see what surprises are in the nest box.

I just get a thrill when I get more than one egg....my Lil ones are starting to lay now...:yesss:
