Is Asheville in western NC, near the mountains?
I think that's the nearest decent-sized town to where my brother lives...haven't been there since '06

That's great!  My ex boss buys two turkeys from us every year and puts a photo of the turkeys on the table for the benefit of the guests.

I've told her mom about the prank, and she thinks it's hilarious, but she put her foot down when I offered to include baby pictures

It is, and I love visiting there. That town goes against everything I was raised to believe in. It's awesome

Don't know squat about Asheville proper, or how you were raised, but the surrounding area is like no place I've ever been. The good 'ol boy network is definitely alive & well.

That's what's so cool about Asheville. 20 minutes from downtown is the buckle of the Bible belt, but downtown is like entering a different world. There are drum circles on Friday nights, a nun with a beard on an 8ft tall bicycle, and one of the best selections of craft beers in the country

You familiar with Taylorsville? That's where my brother got his mail b4 his wife got smart & left his sorry butt. Our family owns 4-5 acres there that Dad bought for my brother, who then proceeded to trash it. Just heard an hour ago that it's about to be sold for back taxes, which dear brother was supposed to be paying, but hasn't in two years.
