All good. Took Friday and Monday off, and it's gorgeous outside.
Glad the big guy made it home![]()

Hubby must be feeling better. He just mentioned the holsters that we ordered before Valentines Day, they have not arrived yet. (4-6 weeks lead time)
But he made a joke and said he can't do appendix carry now![]()

I'm so excited, I can't contain myself. I finally got an egg from all 3 of Armands girls today!!
I wasn't sure if Katherine was laying or not, but she is!!!
And the most exciting part is the eggs look so much alike, it makes perfect sense why I wasn't sure before, but judging by size and tint, I'm betting that 2 of the eggs in the bator now are Katherines!! Full blooded bantam cochin!![]()
4 day weekends are awesome! All good. Took Friday and Monday off, and it's gorgeous outside.

Thanks! And the saddle looks great! I sure hope she turns up!!Congrats on the eggs! I saw a few dozen posts back that your hubby is doing better? That's great to hear! 4 day weekends are awesome! Good news, I got Eulas chicken saddle finished on Thursday night.
The bad news, she went missing yesterday. Nowhere to be found. I setup a temporary pen for her and she was in it for two days. Yesterday, Sunday I saw her out in her little run scratching about at 4 o'clock at 6 o'clock I ran an errand, got back at 8 and she was gone. Not one feather on the ground. Nothing. I have a six foot fence all around my property. Every time I have let the chickens out they always mill about the yard or try to get back in their pens. Why would she wonder off if she got out of her pen? Her original pen was in sight and when she was out two days before she paced the fence trying to get back in. Not this time, gone. I search the neighbors yards on all sides and not a sign of her or her feathers. I should have put her in my garage, but I wanted her to have some air and sunshine.
