I can see the chicken math at work already in my mind! I love Easter Eggers too! Are they Ameraucana mix?
I want mine to stop growing so fast!! I think I could be quite happy if my little Eve didn't get any bigger! Well, maybe a little.. for her sake.

Let's do some different chicken math...

Father is half Ameraucana (two roosters, each half Am. One Light Brahma, other Salmon Faverolle on the other side). So the gene pool is (SF AM) or (LB AM)
Mothers are either Red Sex Link (no Am), or daughters of those two roosters that hatched from green eggs (either 1/2 or 1/4 Am) or the mothers of those girls (SF AM or SLC AM). So any that hatch from a green egg have a copy of the AM gene for certain.

So I think that mathematically the chicks have at a minimum 1/4 Ameraucana. When they lay, I sort and sell off any hens that lay brown eggs. Those that lay brown tend to come from the Cochin/Brahma crossed lines and have feathered feet and Columbian pattern and no fluffy faces.

Its fun to follow the blue egg gene through generations. Have to whip out the old Punnett square once in a while to see the odds.
