Guys Sorry if I'm butting in I'm on my cell so I can't refresh or I'll lose this message and then the hubby called putting off posting.
I just found out that of my 7 blue wheaten Ameraucana chicks only 1 is a pullet..I'm so bummed guys! I understand that's straight run but I figured I'd get atleast a couple of girls..on the upside (is there an upside?) I have some wonderful boys to choose from. Ding dang it!
I ordered 7 to ensure a couple or more girls..

no way!!! I'd expect close to 50-50 within one either way. I think you got the shaft, and I'd be asking about that.

My one and only female is Eve!! And she's missing part of her little toe cause of me.. she's my fave though. Huh! I wonder if my blue baby Caroline is really a boy?! Lousy luck indeed!
I think I'm heavy on cockerels in my blacks too...again I ordered 7. and 5 blues along with the 7 blue wheatens but I have one splash & she might be a female.

Good thing.  I was in the middle of a depressing, complicated chart and I had "I am the Walrus" running through my head!  

So many favorites, depending on my mood.  I used to sing "Here Comes the Sun" to my girls when they were little.  It will always have a special place in my heart.

Although I did look around and see if anyone saw me, as I was laid out on the city sidewalk!

Icing and elevating it now. Took some Advil. And turkey, if I can get hubby to mix me one.
